September 11, 2017. Unfortunately, there was no Memorial Service or published obituary for Carol. However, the employees at our local Target store (where Carol worked at the time of her passing) decided to have a memorial service of their own. Classmate Sue Fuller Baedke attended the memorial this morning and took the photos below.

I knew Carol from kindergarten through our high school graduation. She grew up in my neighborhood. Although I hadn't seen or been in touch with her since our high school graduation, I'm most sadden by her passing.
