MEMORIAL:

Larry Parsons, 58, of Fort Dodge passed away on Monday, April 20, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2009, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. The visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Larry was born in Fort Dodge on Oct. 7, 1950 to Galen and Verla Parsons. He grew up in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. He then attended and graduated from Buena Vista College with a business degree. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and is an original NASCAR fan.

Larry is survived by his wife Jeanne; children, Jamie, Cory, Cale (Lisa), Jon and Jordan; grandchildren, Tate Parsons, Tamra and TeAna Espinoza; his father Galen; brother, Bill Parsons; and nieces, nephews and extended family. Larry was preceded in death by his mother Verla.
