Peg J. Schultz, age 59, of Storm Lake, Iowa died on Monday, August 2, 2010 at her home.

Peggy Jean was born on November 15, 1950, in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Kenny and Pat (White) Newbrough. She began her schooling in Storm Lake, then graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1968. Following her graduation, Peg enrolled at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, where she received a Medical Assistant degree.

As a child, Peg was baptized and later confirmed into the Methodist faith. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. On August 29, 1970, Peg was united in marriage to Larry Schultz in Fort Dodge, Iowa. This union was blessed with two children: Jeff and Kelly. They made their home in Storm Lake, where Peg worked as the office manager for the family owned, Storm Lake Honda-Arctic Cat dealership.

Over the years, Peg provided a warm, comfortable home for her family. She worked hard and was a very organized person, not only for herself, but for her family. She enjoyed motorcycle trips and going to Iowa Hawkeye football games. More than anything, Peg loved and cherished her family and the time they spent together. Her children and her granddaughter were her true pride and joy. She will forever be remembered as a woman of strength and character and as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Those left to cherish Peg's memory are her husband of 39 years, Larry Schultz of Storm Lake; her two children: Jeff (Teresa) Schultz of Alta, Iowa and Kelly (Justin) Billings of Washington, D.C.; her granddaughter, Siena Schultz; two sisters: Pat Schug and Pam (Craig) Phillips, both of Pocahontas; father- and mother-in-law, Loran and Lyllis Schultz of Des Moines, Iowa; brother-in-law, Lynn (Chris) Schultz; sisters-in-law, Lyndall (Roland) Lummis of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Lori (Marty) Glanz of Adel, Iowa; extended family and many friends. Peg was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Jay Schug.
