PARK VIEW, Iowa — Services for Robert F. Wohlers Jr., 51, a resident of Park View, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers & Sass Funeral Home, Eldridge. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Robert died Friday, March 16, 2001, at his home, after a sudden illness. He was employed 31 years as a truck driver for Crouse Cartage Co., Davenport. He retired in October 2000. After his retirement, he worked at Goss Graphics, Mount Joy. He was born Dec. 19, 1949, in Webster City, the son of Robert and Loveda Mae (Daniels) Wohlers Sr., and was a graduate of Fort Dodge High School. He married Sherry Wiemers on March 8, 1980, in Des Moines. Among the things he enjoyed were gardening, fishing and boating. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Survivors include his wife, Sherry; his sons, Troy, Humboldt, and Trevor, Webster City; his daughter, Tiffany Wohlers, Davenport, and her fiancé, Tim Fuller; his grandchildren, Jenna, Joseph and Megan; and his sister, Cherryle Wohlers, Woodward. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara; and his parents. |
