MEMORIAL:

ADDITIONAL:

We are still looking for obituaries for all of our classmates that have passed. I just found this email note that I received on July 11, 2006 from Jo Dena Mc Nally Burzlaff. I passed this on to our class email list at that time.

Dear Sam,

Just passing on a bit of information I just received today from Tim Trace's sister.  She said that Tim went in for open heart surgery in late June, and being a smoker, developed ARDS [Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrom], was put on a ventilator, and passed away on June 26th.  He was 55.  This is so sad.  I lost my brother in January, -he was in liver failure, but had a heart attack and passed away, and then my husband had a heart attack in April, but he is doing quite well.  We all need to take care of ourselves.

I grew up with Tim and his sister, as his parents and mine  did a lot of things together and traveled a lot together too.  Barb and Tim were like another brother and sister to me.  -Another "Cooper" kid!

Chuck Malmberg recalled a poetry assignment our class had in Ms Galloway's 4th grade class at Cooper School in October of 1969. Tim was the winner with this poem:

"Leaves Are Falling"
by Tim Trace

The leaves are falling to the ground,
they do not even make a sound.
But when the leaves are in a bunch,
they sound like Mother eating lunch!!

Thank you, Chuck, for the memory!
