Susan was a dear friend who had a wicked sense of humor that most never experienced. We were best HR buddies and loved hanging out. Susan actuslly went on the road with my band, Windsome, for about a year just for kicks. We had a great time. I searched for her for years and was so sad when I was told she had passed. You are loved and missed, Susan.

I agree with you, Kathy Wickwire, on Susan's sense of humor! We had so many great times together in HS, and our first year at Iowa State. One time, on our return to ISU after a break, we were tooling down Lincolnway in Ames in Sue's little Nash Rambler type of car. She had a phone receiver, with cord attached to a knob on the dashboard - so with windows down, she proceeded to act as if she were talking on this phone in her car. Especially at the stop lights, she was sure to talk loud enough to be heard by the cars in the next lane over. Boy, did we get the looks! She loved doing things like that. I miss her greatly!
